Advantages

MINEFRAME software complex  automates engineering operations in OP and UG mining and offers a filly-fledged solution for common mining and geological tasks. This is achieved through the programs included in the complex: MINEFRAME GEOLOGY, MINEFRAME GEOLOGY+GEOSTATICS, MINEFRAME OPEN-PIT MINING, MINEFRAME UNDERGROUND MINING, MINEFRAME SURVEYING.

In the course of using these systems the expert receives documentation (reports and drawings) as well as a full-fledged digital mine model which they can later use for designing and planning mine work.

TASKS

  • Creating vector, wireframe and block models of mining technology and visualizing them in 3D on vertical sections and planes.
  • Creating database of mine chemical samplings, processing samples including location of ore intervals adjusted for given conditions.
  • Geostatic analysis of mines which can be a basis for creating models of mineral component dispersion  within ore bodies (seams).
  • Calculating volumetric and qualitative characteristics of mining units including in breaking (mining) scheduling.
  • Creating database (catalogue) of survey stations, grouping them by various characteristics.
  • Performing forward and inverse position computation, calculating and adjusting traverses and sights, importing and processing the results of tacheometry and traverse survey.
  • Carrying out the whole set of operations related to modelling trenches on the basis of their bias and tacheometry data.
  • Planning underground mining operations, designing mine workings and large-scale blasts.
  • Planning open-pit mining operations, designing openpits and large-scale blasts.
  • Open-pit boundaries optimization of economic performance
  • Data export, printing graphic data and creating  working drawings in mining graphics standard.
  • Visualizing results of monitoring technological and natural processes.
  • Creating a one geonformational environment within the enterprise.

MODELLING OF GEOLOGICAL ENVIRONMENT

The basis for creating models of geological objects are sampling data.  A special application allows you to input, store and view data in a form of sampling log. Analytical features of search, sorting, filter, import, export and calculation of conditioned ore intervals speed up and simplify the work with huge compilations of data. MINEFRAME GEOLOGY+GEOSTATICS system provides solutions to geological tasks by means of designing 3D geological models including construction of vector, wireframe and block structures.

The software complex uses geostatical method of counting assay. Geostatics is one of powerful field-proven tools that is used for obtaining the most reliable data on mineral reserves in ground, optimal resource recovery planning and  geological exploration. Two main tasks of this program are finding the best estimates of ore reserves and measuring the accuracy of these estimates.

Besides ore body and seam models, models of various geological disturbances and areas can be created, which ensures creation of informative deposit model used in mine work design and planning.

SURVEYING MAINTENANCE FOR MINING OPERATIONS

Work on surveying maintenance of open-pit and underground mining operations in MINEFRAME SURVEYING system is based on the use of survey station, mine workings and original technological ground models. In MINEFRAME SURVEYING system you can perform forward and inverse position computation, find point coordinates by methods of forward and backward sight, calculate and adjust traverse as well as process tacheometry.

The results of calculation are presented in 3D space in the form of points, vector and wireframe models. This allows speeding up the solution of such time-consuming problems as calculating the amount of mineral deposits and overburdens between two positions of the pit, contouring various isolines and calculating the amount of work during the period of interest.

MINE WORK PLANNING

The technology of mine work planning is based on creating 3D models of mining units and determination of sequence of their mining. For calculating values of mineral reserves in mining units and conditions for mining them geochemical model of deposit is used.  Availability of project site models allows modelling not only the procedure of mineral mining but also mine work expansion.

Tools for creating 3D models of поуступных slicing allow professionals to create vector and wireframe models on the basis of one of three parameters: volume, width or length of the slicing. Each slicing, depending on the planning period, can be divided into parts and assigned to the specific period of development in accordance with the logic of mining schedule Control over degree of achieving output targets is maintained with the use of summary table which includes data on values, volume and scheduling periods.

The final stage in this working mode is creating a pit model at the end of scheduling period. As a result, automatic adjustment of top and bottom edges of pit on the basis of the edges of slicings.

The planning involves implementation of certain local projects, the most complicated and responsible of which are large-scale blast projects. Their design for open-pit and underground mining is implemented as a set of tools in MINEFRAM OPEN-PIT AND UNDERGROUND MINING systems.

DRILLING AND BLASTING OPERATIONS

DBO module allows professionals to cover comprehensively the process of creating and editing a large-scale blast model, regardless of geotechological conditions complexity at  construction area, promptly make minor changes to the project without violating its integrity or re-form the project entirely with adapting to current enterprise requirements.
Full utilization of this module means not only open and underground large-scale blast design, but also leading the whole process from ring system and hole set design, creating report documentation before starting drilling and blasting operations, to modelling sections/blocks of a crushing on the basis of measurement data and comparative analysis of designed system with performance.

CREATING SECTIONAL DRAWINGS, SECTIONAL AND WORKING SCHEMES AND REPORTS

Systems of MINEFRAME complex allow transforming 3D objects of mining technology to drawings in accordance with the standards of mining graphics.

The built-in tools allow you to print and export to DXF any 2D or 3D image, i.e. plan views, sections, profiles, 3D-views etc.

ADVANTAGES

Implementing CREDO software complex into the work of mining enterprise can significantly increase its productivity. This is achieved through the work of a surveyor in a single information space, by eliminating time expenditures for preparing and transferring digital data between different units. At the same time, the probability of data corruption decreases, integrity and safety of data are ensured which eventually makes it possible to use information more efficiently.
